Farmington Hills, MI – American Profit Recovery, a collection agency based in Michigan, Massachusetts and North Carolina, has once again spent part of their summer raising money for various charities.
For the seventh year in a row, the collection agency held their annual “Summer Charities of Choice” in their three offices and raised over $2,160 for a number of local charities.
The money was raised internally by giving employees the option of dressing casual in the office and paying a fee for that privilege. All money was raised through employee contributions. Well over $10,000 has been raised in the seven years.
“We have proved that something as simple as dressing casual in a professional office setting can raise quite a bit of money,” states Jeff DiMatteo, a partner at American Profit Recovery. “When it comes to community service, we have one of the best teams around.”
Employees nominated local and regional charities that they had an affinity for. Those charities include:
- Alzheimer’s Association
- Robby Atherton Foundation
- Muscular Dystrophy Association
- Last Day Dog Rescue
- Michigan Pug Rescue
- Framingham Country Club Charitable Association
- Jimmy Fund/Dana Farber Cancer Institute
- Miracle League of Michigan
- Northeast Animal Shelter
- Pulse3 Foundation
- ARMing Heroes
