TekCollect, an industry leader in accounts receivable management, has built upon the success of their initial donation to the Open Shelter of Columbus with a second delivery of clothing and goods this week.

The company, based out of Columbus, gathered a large second donation of clothing for the shelter, including five large 30 gallon bags and several 13 gallon bags. The shelter’s needs called specifically for men’s clothing and shoes, which TekCollect targeted in their second round of contributions.

“Our staff were very enthusiastic with the results of our first shelter drive, and asked us to extend the drive for a second round of donations,” said Ron Douglas, Vice President at TekCollect. “We’re thankful our team has a desire to give back, and are glad to be able to pass that spirit on when we can.”

The Open Shelter serves Central Ohio by providing emergency shelter and assistance to the homeless and marginally housed in the Columbus area and beyond. Services include providing a legal mailing address, food pantry, clothing room, business center, bag lunches and financial management services. To learn more, visit TheOpenShelter.org.
