Encore Capital Sets Dates for First Quarter 2010 Results and Upcoming Investor Day

SAN DIEGO — Encore Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECPG) announced today that it will release its financial results for the first quarter of 2010 on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, after the market closes.  The Company will also host a conference call the same day at 5:00 P.M. Eastern Time to discuss the reported results.

The Company also announced today that it will host its fourth annual investor day on Wednesday, June 16, 2010, in New York City, following the conclusion of business at its annual meeting of stockholders.  Presentations by Encore’s management team are scheduled to begin shortly after 9:00 a.m. ET and conclude by approximately noon ET.

Due to space limitations, registration is required to attend the investor day.  Registration requests should be sent by e-mail and will be processed in the order in which they are received.
