ACA International to hold annual Fall Forum in Windy City

MINNEAPOLIS – ACA International, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, will hold its annual Fall Forum Conference Nov. 4–6, 2009, at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

This unique meeting features three tracks: Asset Buyers Division (ABD) and Health Care sessions, and the Credit & Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) Workshop.

• Asset Buyers Division Sessions: Featuring the latest asset buying and selling trends with sessions on the state of the industry, licensing and insurance options for debt purchasers, data security, asset buying accounting practices and trends in pricing and lending.

• Health Care Sessions: Featuring sessions on the Medicare bad debt cost report, data integrity/protection, new technologies to engage consumers, challenges facing today’s business offices and the future of health care reform in this educational track.

• Credit & Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) Workshop: This Campus ACA credentialing program was designed to provide training for credit and collection professionals with compliance responsibilities at their organization. Topics include customer care strategies, how to handle disputes and complaints, documentation, how to measure risks, and more.

Fall Forum will expand attendees’ knowledge of the industry while providing new ways to accomplish their goals.

In addition to the educational opportunities, attendees can network with industry vendors in the Expo Hall to learn more about products and services to benefit their business. They can also join their peers for networking receptions, networking lunches and the annual special dinner event.

Fall Forum is open to members and nonmembers of ACA. Discounts are provided for registrations made through Oct. 23, 2009.
