Extendicare recently selected Ontario Systems’ Artiva Healthcare product to strategically manage their revenue cycle. The Artiva Healthcare system is a revenue cycle intelligence engine that effectively drives strategies. It includes a revenue process management tool set to optimally handle patient accounts, resulting in improved cash collections and decreased bad debt expense.
Extendicare will use the Artiva Healthcare product to re-tool its self-pay and insurance follow-up process. The system will simplify the account management process by automating actions, driving account flow, and leveraging the organization’s staff to perform higher level tasks more efficiently.
“The Artiva Healthcare product will allow us to streamline our revenue cycle processes and further strengthen our organization’s financial position, allowing us to continue to provide exceptional care to our residents,” said Doug Harris, Extendicare’s interim chief financial officer, vice president and controller.
“We are pleased to partner with an exceptional organization like Extendicare and look forward to working with them to improve their revenue cycle management,” said Steve Beard, Ontario Systems’ vice president for strategic relations.
