Chase has opened a Small Business Recovery Center in Baton Rouge, LA to help serve small businesses affected by Hurricane Katrina.

The center is located at Chase’s Corporate Square facility at 5321 Corporate Blvd. It will offer a broad range of specialized services including:

  • Emergency banking services
  • Credit Services – bridge loans, loan restructuring and SBA financing
  • Business consulting services

The Center will work in partnership with state and local government agencies to provide access to emergency funds and financing. Chase created a similar business recovery center in New York City following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

“We created this Small Business Recovery Center to provide business owners with a place to begin rebuilding their businesses,” said Pam Evans, Small Business regional manager. “So many small businesses suffered incredible hardship from the storm. This center gives them access to resources to help them get their business back in business.”

Evans and her staff of Chase Small Business Banking experts will be available at the Corporate Square facility from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

Small business customers also can call the Small Business Recovery Hotline at (877) 612-9362 for more information.
