Ontario Systems, a leading receivables management technology and services provider, congratulated Tyler Roark, Senior Director of Product Management, on his finalist nomination to the College Mentors For Kids Inspire Awards today, highlighting his mentorship services throughout his career, and specifically of Client Executive Anthony Doudt over the past 12 years. He was selected from a pool that included more than 100 potential finalists, and will be honored by College Mentors For Kids at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in Indianapolis this week.
“Tyler was a supervisor at Ontario Systems when I first met him as a newly-hired support specialist fresh out of college,” Doudt explains. “I had been working on making a career out of pro baseball when I was cut from the Anaheim Angels organization, and he took me under his wing at my new job. He spent countless hours helping me learn each Ontario Systems enterprise application at the outset, and later taught me how to make decisions more efficiently when I became a supervisor myself, and he became a manager.”
“Even though our daily work today means we don’t find ourselves interacting as much as we used to, I still turn to him for advice, encouragement, and insight,” Doudt concludes. “His mentorship has inspired me to do the same for new Ontario Systems employees.”
Roark and more than 30 other finalists will attend the event, where they will be honored for their mentorship roles in functions spanning accounting to nonprofit. He joins representatives from Dow AgroSciences, ExactTarget, Southport High School, and AndyMark Inc. in the category of Technology, Engineering & Manufacturing.
“Our business is defined by the talented, dedicated people who choose to come work with us,” says Ontario Systems CEO Ron Fauquher. “Employees like Tyler Roark are the reason why our products and services are so successful in driving profitable business for so many of our customers. He is a living example of the importance of service to others and we are proud to call him a leader in our organization.”
