NCCI Completes SAS 70 Type II Audit

National Creditors Connection, Inc. has successfully completed the SAS 70 Type II audit conducted by Bronsky & Co. CPA Firm to provide the highest security standards for clients.

SAS70 is one of the most widely recognized auditing standards for service companies.  It was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) for service organizations to demonstrate a high level of control effectiveness to independent auditors.  It provides clients with quality assurance and data protection, and relieves institutions from the trouble and cost of performing their own audit.  

To achieve the certification, NCCI underwent an extensive testing of a variety of controls, including the prevention of accounting inconsistencies and errors made in data management. NCCI was found to have controls operating with sufficient effectiveness, as well as providing reasonable assurance the controls were achieved.  Type II visually and physically tests all controls stated in the Type I report, which NCCI achieved in April 2009.  

The SAS 70 Certification assures clients that NCCI has all the necessary security controls in place regarding business procedures and information technology.  This allows clients to keep pace with their own regulatory compliance.

To maintain the Type II certification, NCCI is required to pass a yearly audit.
