For the second year in a row, Phillips & Cohen Associates, Ltd., announced that it has been named a Top Workplace Winner in the Mid-Sized Company Category in Delaware News Journal’s employee-based survey.

Phillips & Cohen Associates is an international specialty debt collection agency with its US Headquarters housing over 130 employees in Wilmington, DE. Delaware News Journal’s results were published August 12th.

In addition to being named fifth in the overall division this year, Phillips & Cohen Associates was also recognized in this year’s Top Workplace survey as having the most-effective managers. The special award recognizes managers ability to help individuals learn and grow, make it easier for workers to do their job well, and care about their workforce’s concerns.

“These awards are a testament to our most valued asset, our employees,” said Howard Enders, President of Phillips & Cohen Associates. “They personify our corporate values: integrity, respect, will-to-win, commitment, and accountability. We recognize that by investing in our people, and providing them with a positive work environment, everyone wins; especially our clients and their customers.”

The rankings in Delaware News Journal’s Top Places to Work are based on survey information submitted by company employees, and reflect employee opinions about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity/inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility, and values and ethics. Delaware News Journal featured Phillips & Cohen in two related articles over the weekend: “Debt collector rewards textbook pitch” and “Mentoring key at debt firm.”

“We are very proud to have received this award; and especially proud to have received it two years in a row,” said Matthew Phillips, Co-Chairman and CEO of Phillips & Cohen Associates. “This recognition anchors our belief that employees perform at their best and are happy to do so when provided with great tools and a positive, encouraging environment. These awards are a reflection of our commitment to our employees, and ultimately our clients and their customers.”
