Alan H. Weinberg, Managing Partner
Recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer for seven years in a row, Alan H. Weinberg is the Managing Partner of WWR who previously managed the Litigation & Defense department in the Cleveland office. Mr. Weinberg is licensed in Ohio and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern and Southern Districts of OH) and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Mr. Weinberg is certified as a Creditors’ Rights Specialist by the American Board of Certification and was appointed as special counsel for the Ohio Attorney General. He is a member of the American Board of Certification (Board of Directors), Commercial Law League of America, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, Northern Ohio Credit Association (past President) and Ohio Creditors Attorneys Association (Educational Chairperson). Mr. Weinberg also serves as a Board Member and Annual Fundraising Event Chairperson for Care Alliance.
Allen J. Reis, Managing Partner
Allen J. Reis is the Managing Partner of the Columbus offices of WWR and practices in the Legal Action Recovery department. He is based in WWR’s Grove City office. Mr. Reis is licensed in Ohio and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern and Southern Districts of OH). He is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association (Financial Institutions, Municipal Court committees). Mr. Reis is a member of Phi Alpha Theta and is actively involved with the YWCA Family Center. This is the third year that Mr. Reis has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer.
Larry R. Rothenberg, Partner
Larry R. Rothenberg is a Partner in the Real Estate Default Group of WWR, managing the Foreclosure/Evictions department of the Cleveland office. He is licensed in Ohio and admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Northern District of OH) and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Rothenberg is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (Chairman of Foreclosure Procedures Committee, past Chairman of Real Estate section). Mr. Rothenberg is a member of the American Legal and Financial Network. This is the fifth year that Mr. Rothenberg has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer.
Scott S. Weltman, Partner
Scott S. Weltman is a Partner managing the firm’s Commercial Collection practice area as well as the firm’s Probate Recovery department. He is located in the Cleveland office of WWR. Mr. Weltman is licensed in Ohio and California, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court (Central District of CA) and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Weltman is a member of the State Bar of California, Ohio State Bar Association and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Order of the Coif and Phi Kappa Phi. Mr. Weltman serves as a board member for Adult Guardianship Services. This is the third year that Mr. Weltman has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer.
